Designing Nova

One of the benefits of being able to travel through time and space is that Nova here was able to oversee the process of her own design, just to make sure things came out right. It's best not to try to think of it in terms of cause and effect... things get a bit wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

This is a mixed medium piece, a bit of an experiment. The desk and associated elements were rendered in Blender while the character was later painted in.
I think it turned out fantastic myself.
